Contingency Plan

A contingency plan is a management tool for good governance of Information Technology and Communications in the domain of support and performance.

Contingency Plan of the ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) consists in a phased planned a strategy , constituted by a set of backup resources, an emergency organization and procedures of action aimed at achieving an orderly, progressive and agile restoration of the information systems that support the information and business processes considered critical in the PCN company.
This plan contains the technical, human and organizational measures to ensure business continuity and operations of a company.

A contingency plan is a particular case of business continuity planning applied to the IT department or technologies. Other departments may have continuity plans that pursue the same objective from another point of view. However, given the importance of technology in modern organizations, the contingency plan is the most relevant.
